Questions about cape rarity
How is cape rarity decided?
Each cape gets a tier from Stone (most common) to Dragon (rarest). The tier comes from how many players own the cape and how hard it is to get an unused code today. Event-only and short-promotion capes rank highest.
Where do the owner numbers come from?
They are rounded estimates. Use them to compare capes, not as exact counts.
Can a rare cape become common later?
Only if it is given out again. Capes tied to a past event or a promotion that has ended usually stay rare, which is why their codes cost more.
