Crafter Cape: History, Rarity and How to Get It (2026 Guide)

The Crafter Cape is an official Minecraft cape for Java and Bedrock (origin: 2026 promotion, from May 30, 2026). This guide covers where it came from, how rare it is, what it looks like on a real skin and exactly how to get the Crafter Cape today.

Where the Crafter Cape comes from

The Crafter Cape was released at the end of May 2026 as part of a limited event promotion. Its crafting-table inspired design is instantly recognisable to every Minecraft player.

Unused codes are scarce, which makes the Crafter one of the rarest capes we stock. When codes are available they sell fast.

What the Crafter Cape looks like

A crafting-table inspired design with the wooden frame and tools every Minecraft player knows. It is instantly recognisable and works with almost any skin.

You can spin the 3D model at the top of this page, switch between walking and elytra flight, and type your own Minecraft username to see the Crafter Cape on your skin before you buy.

Looks best with: Builder and villager-style skins, and warm brown or wooden palettes.

How rare is the Crafter Cape?

It came from a limited 2026 event promotion and very few unused codes are left. It is in our top Dragon tier, the rarest capes we stock.

Rarity on GetCape is shown with six tiers: Stone, Iron, Gold, Diamond, Netherite and Dragon, from most common to rarest. Prices follow supply: when unused codes for a cape run low, they cost more to source.

How to get the Crafter Cape in 2026

The original promotion has ended, so you cannot earn the Crafter Cape from Mojang any more. The only way to add it to your account now is an unused official code. Every code we sell is checked before it is listed and is delivered instantly after payment, with a replace-or-refund guarantee.
