The Cheapest Official Minecraft Capes (Best Budget Picks)

You do not need to spend a lot to stand out. A handful of official Minecraft capes had wide releases, which keeps unused codes easy to source and prices low. Here are the best budget capes in 2026 and who each one suits.

Why are some capes cheaper?

Price follows supply. Capes from long, easy promotions (a few minutes of livestream watch time, for example) have more unused codes in circulation, so they cost less. They are still official Mojang capes and most players on a server will not have them.

Home Cape

From the A Minecraft Movie Twitch promotion. The Home Cape is calm and clean and pairs with almost any skin, which makes it the safest first cape. Read the guide.

Copper Cape

Weathered copper turning from orange to oxidised green. The Copper Cape is a favourite with builders and redstoners. Read the guide.

Menace Cape

The darker sibling of the Home Cape, with a red and purple portal design. The Menace Cape suits darker skins. Read the guide.
